A Few Things People Might Not Know About Me
I am the owner of Cleveland Advance Care and Renewed Spaces Ohio. If you asked me years ago what I would be doing today, I probably wouldn’t have imagined building work centered around caregiving, organizing, and supporting people through life transitions. But when I look back, I can see that every chapter of my life has quietly prepared me for this work. For much of my life I have been drawn toward helping others—whether as a fitness instructor, a caregiver, a family support advocate, or simply someone who could sit beside another person during a difficult moment. Over time I began to realize that what people often need most is not perfection or expertise. They need presence. Someone calm. Someone trustworthy. My path here has not been simple. Like many people, I have walked through seasons of deep personal challenge. There were years where I had to step back, rebuild my life, and learn how to take care of myself in ways I never had before. That journey taught me something important: healing is rarely neat or predictable, and people deserve compassion while they are finding their way. Those experiences shaped the way I approach my work today. I don’t see people as problems to fix. I see individuals and families doing the best they can in complicated circumstances. For several years I have worked independently in caregiving and family support roles. I’ve helped households stay organized, supported individuals navigating illness and aging, and offered practical help during times when life felt overwhelming. What I have learned is that small acts of support can have a powerful impact. Sometimes it’s helping someone reorganize a home after a difficult season. Sometimes it’s supporting a family caring for a loved one. Sometimes it’s simply being present so someone doesn’t feel alone while facing hard decisions. Cleveland Advance Care and Renewed Spaces Ohio grew from that understanding. These projects reflect my belief that care should be thoughtful, respectful, and centered around the whole person—not just the tasks that need to be completed. Outside of work, I am someone who values quiet reflection, personal growth, and meaningful connection. I have spent many years working on my own healing and learning how to move through the world with greater self-awareness and compassion. That journey continues, and it informs the way I approach every person I work with. My hope is that when someone encounters Cleveland Advance Care or Renewed Spaces Ohio, they feel something simple but important: that they are being met with honesty, kindness, and respect. Because at the end of the day, care is not just a service. It is a relationship built on trust.
